Nations which protects cultural heritage, never see downfall

Karachi—Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Muhammad Hussain Syed said Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi was a big organization where artistic, cultural, literary and educational programs held throughout the year which makes a soft image of city of Karachi.

Rise of literary, educational and cultural activities always considered a good sign for any society. Nations which protects their cultural heritage never see their downfall. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi which called on him in his office. Before this he gave check of annual grant to President ACP Ahmed Shah. Administrator Karachi said organization like Arts Council should especially patronize the new artists, writers and poets so that they could be encouraged and this generation could deliver such people who promote the name of our country in the world.

He said KMC has decided to hold a program each week in the city which would include sports events, paintings exhibition, literary programs and programs for special children. President of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Ahmed Shah thanked Administrator Karachi for giving annual grant to ACP which he said would help them continue their organization functional by holding literary and educational activities.

Vice President of Arts Council Mehmood Ahmed Khan, Senior Director Community Development Muhammad Rehan Khan, District Officer Khurshid Shah and other officers were also present on this occasion.
