INTACH UK Trust, the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, UK, exists to foster closer ties in the field of art and cultural heritage between the UK and India. INTACH UK Trust is a registered UK Charity and is based in London.
INTACH UK Trust awards discretionary scholarships to UK citizens to allow them to undertake educational study visits to India in the field of art and cultural heritage. These visits allow UK citizens to undertake research and gain professional experience through projects or work placements. Most recipients of scholarships are young professionals in the early stages of their careers, or students.
INTACH UK Trust cooperates with other Trusts and Foundations and sometimes makes joint awards. It also supports conservation work and conservation training in India, working with organisations active in India in the conservation field.
